Gen-Eye POD® Now with Wi-Fi
Always easy on your back and budget, General’s versatile Gen-Eye POD® and Mini-POD® pipe inspection cameras now feature Wi-Fi inside. Wi-Fi lets you use your tablet or smartphone to record the inspection and send it to your customers on the spot or back at the shop.
The lightweight, compact Gen-Eye POD combines a camera, reel, and monitor in an all-in-one package. You get a large 7” LCD color monitor in a padded case mounted on a flexible gooseneck that swivels to give you the best viewing angle wherever you work.
The Reel Cover protects work sites from dripping push-rods. The heavy-duty, 600 denier poly canvas cover fits snugly around the full-size reel. Securely affixed with Velcro tabs – and easily removed to hose off push-rod between jobs.
There’s more, like an LED Dimmer Control, AC and DC power cords, 2 and 3” Trap Skids, and a 512 Hz transmitter. A video-out connection lets you record on an external device.

Easy Rooter® Job Tested Tough
The Easy Rooter is a tough, easy-to-use machine. It has a rugged powder-coated steel frame with special “roll bars” to protect the motor and heavy-duty roller bearings in the cage for longer life and greater motor efficiency on long runs. The large cage holds 100 feet of 3/4 or 5/8 Flexicore® cable to clear tree roots and other complex obstructions in 3” to 10” drain lines.
The patented Quick-Grip™ chuck secures the cable during operation. With just a quarter turn, the chuck tightens firmly on the cable to secure it while the Easy Rooter drives it into the line. It can be released quickly to pull more cable from the cage. It’s faster and easier to use than a thumb screw.
The Easy Rooter has a rugged cage cover to protect customers, surroundings, and equipment from dripping cables and water spray from the spinning cage. The durable, heavy-duty, poly canvas cover fits snuggly around the cage to keep your customers clean and dry. Yet, it can be easily removed for cable inspection or cleaning between rentals. Replacement cage covers are available separately (Cat # ER-CV).
A 1/3 hp capacitor motor supplies power with thermal overload protection. A momentary contact reverse switch protects the cable by preventing the operator from running the machine in reverse for over a few seconds.
